Grouse are everywhere in the Onaping area. We see them on the hiking trails, we see them on the ATV trails, we see them on the shore of the lake and we even have them walking around camp.
The dominant species in the area is Ruffed Grouse but we do have Spruce Grouse, which makes up about 15% of the total grouse population.
Grouse Hunters are invited to explore the many ATV trails and hiking paths leading out into the thick bush where there will be ample opportunities to bag a bird. As you may know, grouse hunting is more then just hunting. It's a chance to take an enjoying walk through the clean crisp fall air of northern Ontario and view the splendor of the fall colors, get some exercise and also witness many forms of wildlife.
We do not have a package specifically designed for Grouse Hunters. Regular cabin rental rates apply.
